The following terms & conditions apply to all courses and drop-in sessions listed on the site

1) Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at each session.  If you are unsure what to wear, please ask the Instructor BEFORE commencement of the class.  Should you choose to ignore this advice, the instructor takes no responsibility for any injuries occuring as a result.

2) The age limit is in place for insurance purposes.  If you do not fall into the age bracket, you must contact the instructor for further advice.

3) Anyone under the age of 18 MUST have parental consent to take part in the classes.

4) Participants must sign their own name on registers for drop in sessions as this ensures you have read and understood the waiver.  If someone else signs your name it is assumed you have passed responsibility to them.  The only exception is for classes at Rochester Dance Junction where attendance of the class assumes you are deemed fit to exercise and have notified the instructor of any changes in medical health.

5) Any medical conditions which may affect your exercise MUST be mentioned to the instructor.

6) All payments for drop-in sessions are non-refundable once paid and payments must be received before participating in the class.  For course bookings, all payments are non-refundable after the closing date for bookings, which is clearly stated on the timetable and on the booking forms.

7) If a participant cancels a booking or does not turn up for a sessions after the closing date for bookings, it is NOT possible to obtain a refund or a transfer. If the instructor cancels a course or date after the closing date, each individual booked on will be contacted to decide what compensation can be offered.

8) Places on courses or classes with limited spaces CANNOT be reserved without full payment of money before the closing date.  Courses will only run if mimimum number of participants is reached.  Full refunds will be given if the course cannot go ahead due to low numbers.  Cheques must be paid and cleared before the closing date.

9) Booking forms need to be completed and returned with payment for courses in order to ensure receipts can be issued and so the instructor can contact participants before the start of the course.  Failure to return the booking form does not waive liability for these terms and conditions.  However, it will be the responsibility of the participant to contact the instructor before the course commences for all the relevant information.

10) On occasion, filming or photography might take place in class for the purposes of assessments, continual professional development or for use on this website.  Participants who do NOT want to be filmed or photographed should write "No filming/photohgraphy" next to their name when signing in.

11) Only footage of participants who have given permission will be used and the footage will only be seen by assessors or used on this website.   The copyright belongs to Gemma Quinnell and cannot be used on any other website, including You Tube.

12) Choreography is copyright of Gemma Quinnell or is licensed to Gemma Quinnell.  No participant or instructor is permitted to use the choreography without prior consent of Gemma Quinnell or the awarding body granting the license.

13) Attendance of courses and classes assumes the participant has read and agreed to the terms and conditions listed.  If there is any confusion with the above terms and conditions, it is the responsibility of the participant to contact Gemma Quinnell BEFORE participating in any class and written agreementss signed by Gemma Quinnell and the participant are needed to exclude a participant from a particular term or condition.
